Running Queries

To run a query in Data Explorer:

  1. From Navigator, or the main toolbar, select Data Explorer
    . The Data Explorer screen will open.
  2. In the left hand panel (see Query Types, Selections and Destinations), select the Query Type you require.
  3. In Selection, click on the drop-down arrow to display the available selections for that query type. Click on the required selection.
  4. The Criteria area displays the available criteria for Query Type you selected. Use the check-boxes and drop-down options given, to specify the required criteria.
  5. Select either Report Grid or Crosstab Analyser as the destination.
  6. Click Run Query.
